    I had a callout in the early 90s saying the server goes down every day at 5pm and also the server is bricked up behind a wall. It turned out to be Netware 286 with a non-dedicated server (using a shared workstation)

    When I first joined BG I used help to run the department Novelle Netware 3.1 on a 386 'server' .... we were one of the few departments at that time in BG that even had a local network. Fun days

    It's one hell of a streamlined company that has just one server and doesn't need it.

    You're obviously not cut out for that kind of cutting edge environment so I'd tell your boss where to stick those memory sticks.
