The totals didn't "promptly dip at the same time the R rate was 3".Originally posted by OwlHoot View PostThe R rate aspect of that graph looks highly sus to me. I'm skeptical that the totals would promptly dip at the same time the R Rate was 3.
It was also from the Daily Mail, so quite likely some illiterate innumerate minimum wage Daily Mail hack superimposed the R Rate lines.
Can you explain what you mean?
The point of the graph was evidence to contradict the claim:
When challenged, oPM asked for evidence that it ever got above 1.1, I chose that source and asked him to prove otherwise, which he has failed to do so.Originally posted by original PM View Post...even during the height of the pandemic it rarely got above 1.1...
So, if you feel the Wail is wrong in saying that the R rate was up near 3, please provide evidence, not just your suspicion that far right media sources are well known for spreading lies to the gullible.

Wanna bet?Originally posted by AtW View PostPubs are optional - it’s choice, supermarkets are not - wearing masks protects others, if everybody does it then it gives extra protection, why argue against it?

Whether or not a quack agrees to pay somebody 5k is irrelevant to whether the virus exists. That isn't how reality works.Originally posted by AlfredJPruffock View PostBrilliant ,,,now are you going to claim the 5 thousand bucks ......???

You seem to think that the quack will pay somebody 5k if a proof is valid. Therefore if he does not pay 5k, the proof is invalid.

Because he's a chiropracter, not a real medical doctor. They're on the level of homeopaths. Oh, and he's an anti-vaxxer (like most chiropracters) and a conspiracy theorist.
