Yes, I've heard the effects can be more taxine than HMRC. We've only got a cat, and they tend to avoid yew. We'll keep my grandson well away. Apparently yew berry jam is quite tasty. Just remember to remove the seeds.

If you don't remember to remove the seeds, you'll have nothing to worry about after about 12 hours. Those you leave behind might not take it lying down.

I've just received delivery of 50 1.2-1.4m yew trees, in order to create a classic British yew hedge, here in the heart of Europe, to show these Johnny Foreigners what a real hedge looks like.

My work crew arrive tomorrow to plant the hedges. Any tips in the meantime for keeping the trees a healthy as possible?
