I thought the clip was quite funny and as one of the comments said best way of dealing with things like this is to show how ridiculous it is. Saying that if someone was making fun of something closer to home not sure how I would feel. That's what you get when you is clever enough to hold two opposing views, innit.

I normally quite like this sort of humour, but I didn't find the sketch particularly funny. Even more so when I found it was a proper BBC job - felt more like something that some college kids would put together. Could've been much better.

They are talking about this on LBC and some of the Lefties are funny.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostEver noticed that when the Mail claims that the BBC has "sparked fury" it's actually just one or two people tweeting mild dislike, some rentagob mouthing off for attention, or anonymous sources (aka the journalist at the next desk) providing quotes that sound like something no real person would say in a million years?

Nope, never.
Are you sure?

I do hope you're not suggesting that the Mail isn't a well reasoned, highly regarded source of independent and unbiased news?Originally posted by NickFitz View PostEver noticed that when the Mail claims that the BBC has "sparked fury" it's actually just one or two people tweeting mild dislike, some rentagob mouthing off for attention, or anonymous sources (aka the journalist at the next desk) providing quotes that sound like something no real person would say in a million years?

This.Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostSeems clear to me it is mocking the idiots who leave their comfortable western lifestyle to be Jihadi bride - not those forced into sexual slavery.
White middle class lefties will be mortally offended that it portrays Muslims in a bad way rather than just ISIS. It's akin to satirists taking the mickey out of the KKK and being branded as portraying white people or Christians in a bad way.
