I don't see why the mint should be making concessions to this minority. The majority of people haven't got an issue. Let them boycott. I mean, exactly who will that inconvenience?
There are many issues about which people should be concerned (not that I think minute-traces-of-tallow-derivatives-in-fivers is one of them). When they concentrate on the one that happens to be high on the agenda at the moment, it doesn't mean they're ignoring or don't care about the others. It simply means they're capable of concentrating on a specific issue, rather than feeling a need to address every single problem in the world simultaneously.

Your claim is that PEOPLE WHO INHERENTLY DON'T THINK ANIMALS SHOULD BE KILLED aren't against killing animals in a Halal fashion. Halal is a subset of killing animals, so what exactly are you on about?
