I don't think so. If it hits a DNA molecule it will probably just obliterate it, rather than cause it to mutate. There was a bloke who got his head in the path of a 67GeV proton beam. It didn't cause cancer - but he was burned. So maybe the OMG particle would just kill you instantly.Originally posted by OwlHoot View Post...

(Ultra-high-energy cosmic radiation is far less likely to reach the ground, as it is broken up and cascades into slower particles in the atmosphere.)
