I was at Gatwick for a while too! Not in IT but a process improvement team. I seem to recall the F2F interview there requiring me to whiteboard a process.

Early 2021 actually, because in SA everything happens 25 years later. Had to sign a doc saying I was not a leprous before entering the office.
Did also get at the same time some weirdo small company wanting to pretend it was Google 2005 in Silicon Valley, and solve a programming riddle on a whiteboard to a panel of developers. Eh no thanks.
Prior to that last face to face was 2014.

Last face to face that was successful would be 15+ years ago. Everything since then has been referrals, references and phone/video calls.
Gatwick IT pre-lockdown was something of a nest of vipers, although they got rid of most of them during lockdown soit might have improved,

August 2020 - but not really an interview - guy wasn't technical enough to call it that. More of a chat that landed me the work.
I suffer quite badly from anxiety and I have autism so the move to not only remote working but remote interviewing has been kind of life changing for me. Helps me manage much better and perform better for my clients.

2017, was awful, even had to whiteboard code (who does that?!) to a panel of managers and developers. Still got the contract but wished I hadn’t for the rest of the contract Phone or zoom since (and fully remote too).

2020 - It was more a meet and greet after a telephone interview as the role was suppose to be hybrid and I was taken to all the office locations. It was hybrid for about 6 weeks then...

In summer 2017 I had three face to face interviews for a new gig with a FTSE100 firm. First was with the CIO, second with Head of HR and third with two other Directors. All were relatively informal. I actually enjoy face to face interviews and miss them as I much prefer them to Teams or Zoom.
Hoping to finalise a new gig today. If confirmed, that will be the sixth in a row in last six years that have all come through my network and referrals, so even the online interviews are getting quite short.

It was my last interview of any kind. After that it was all word of mouth and contacts - one of which was through this forum.
