To be fair, there's a lot more than that.

    The perm benefits are overrated

So have I - And I would rather have to pay for my coffee and parking and bill a serious invoice than think about 45K salary (as was suggested) with all the perm benefits !

I know one person on here that would chop his right arm off for the parking...

But non of those are benefits. They are perks, which are offered to most people on site including contractors at many clients so bit of a crap argument.

I believe a proper benefit is the use of a spell checker... Maybe you should go perm?

The perm role. I will never work inside IR35 under any circumstances.

As I'm conservative it's based on 220 days at £350 a day and the PAYE equivalent for a year comes to £66,800 (with employer NI, apprenticeship levy and a £25 umbrella fee deducted).
thanks, which is £47,436.76 after tax, so that means 23.7k on a 6 month role.

40k is £30,863.96 after tax which should be compared to any contract roles on 6m.

    Answers as follows:

How much do you earn? Not enough unfortunately - Trying to retrain as a social media influencer

How much do you pay tax on? - 100% of 0 == 0

How much do you divert into the bank account of family/friends? 0 but would love to hear from you tax saving strategies learnt from politicians in the UK of using offshore jurisdictions and trusts to better keep hold of the few pennies in my pocket!

Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday !
