And a Happy Christmas to all of you who are benched. I think things are going to get a bit better in the new year, or at least there will be some more certainty about the way things are going, allowing us to plan a bit better.
The rest of you who are earning £600/day+ can go hang bah humbug (only joking lol)

Regardless of how good of a role you are in now and how lucky you were before, there's no denying currently the market is tulipe and will probably stay like this for a while.

And regarding Labour. For what it's worth I was a Tory voter all my life. Didn't vote for them after the Brexit fiasco or since. Highly unlikely I will ever vote for them again after the mess they have caused over the last 14 years. Which labour have to tidy up.

Here we go again. I am all for adapting but when there are next to no roles to go round then then it is of limited impact.
As for the government, the Conservatives were in for 14 years (including the coalition years) and Labour have been in for five months. I am not convinced matters have improved since July but it early days.

On the whole the previous 14 years for me have been fantastic. Some peaks and some troughs, but on the whole it's been great. Currently on highest rate ever and that has the potential to rise significantly if the client's business plans come to fruition. 100% remote, outside IR35, good people and interesting work.

Yes, because the previous 14 years were so fantastic weren't they?
There are some odd people on here who've completely failed to adapt or improve, and find it easy to blame everything on others.
