Mettle is free and takes less than a week to get an account.
I think you'll find that Freeagent is the answer.

Pay for Freeagent. It's hardly difficult. Or pay rather more for Sage and the rest which will have all sorts of tools you don't need. Or get an accountant who uses Freeagent.

We've given you the answer, If you don't like it then fine, but we aren't going to give any different ones.

FWIW I run Freeagent off my phone 90% of the time., if you're that scared of getting off Linux.

Or even better use a cloud app (Freeagent) then your desktop is just a browser.

Going to give us a bit more context? You don't have an accountant and free agent? Is this for a 'normal' contract as agents will rarely pay your LTD gross as there are risks on them if you don't pay your tax? Is this for a side business etc?

Might get a better answer if you give some context.
