Same, agreed and i thought that’s what they are doing?
But if you’re liability is small, or you can’t get hold of the fees, or simply refuse to pay anymore £ towards this, or are sceptical of anyone else trying to help, i understand why people aren’t doing the same.

Their plan was to cherry pick a few of us to take to court to see how they got on.
Which they could only do by legitimising the ‘loans’.
Which they could never do without our permission
.
My (uneducated) opinion is they have shot themselves...

I’m paying less than half that..
Potential for more, potentially, nor certainly...

Fair enough, really not sure where the 6k figure is from? I’m more than happy to pay to go on the attack, rather than perpetuated defence, but not £6k.
The chances of anyone getting taken to court, how things stand, is tiny.
But still worth getting paperwork in order,...

Didn’t Ken’s website explain how his company uniquely utilised AI to help his shenanigans. Hmmm
All that financial issue’s but okay to pay for claude?
Nothing about the Elysium meeting sounded. Dodgy.
And as this forum shows west28 have zero chance, if you...Last edited by WorldOfScams; 6 June 2026, 08:34.

Reading on statute of limitations
They are not normal loans, my deed states it is a specialty loan (along with other limitation extending wording) which means 12 years limitation, not 6.
unless, they are converted to that CCA agreement, which is impossible without our agreement....

Been reading:
A creditor cannot simply convert an old loan into a new, fully compliant CCA agreement without your agreement.
- so if we never sign anything, it’ll never become a CCA agreement.
Just to put it out there this an email from...Last edited by WorldOfScams; 11 May 2026, 17:19.

I have also saved all emails, and it seems all contracts, deeds and letters. And useful scheme explanation emails from individuals from Darwin.
Maybe i have enough to dispute, just don’t know how complex this will get...

Trethowans have, and initially, they don’t need to take 100’s to court..
I’ve found the deed, and from what i have now read, i now understand and agree if they are turning these into CCA rather that the original specialty debts they might be doing us a favour?...

I think due to speed of required response if they go ahead with the claims (which they have clearly indicated they are preparing, including their strategy, which as you can guess is skewed in their favour).
My understanding is a claim would need to be responded to within 14 (or 21) days....

unfortunately i think we are about to find out.
unless this is one incredibly elaborate bluff....

Not sure how much i should say in this forum but in short: from my skimish reading as theres a lot to digest. Elysium we’re attempting to resolve all of this with them, given the arguments we all know, but recently West 28 have changed tactics (from ignoring/ stalling to legitimising)...

I didn’t explain myself properly.
Elysium have provided the months worth of letters between them and Trethowans. The correspondences explain a lot about how we got here....

I’m in the Elysium group and they have provided correspondences from Trethowans...

Agreed, but I’m probably going with Elysium for now as i do believe we’re about to be put in a position that will require defending. And i’m not quite ready to go solo.
I also hoping if this attempt to extort us doesn’t work, then this may be over. What else could they try?...
