The problem is more that they're *legally* claiming, cos Labour seems to have made anyone and everyone eligible for as much cash and money as they can find.
We did have a problem with migration, and most migrants have 3+ children, well not to fret they now get even moooooore money. Moooore...

It seems fairly ordinary to stop paying yourself when your business has no income.
JSA is based on if you are working or not, I am not working. You can't claim it if you are working, so if you're in a contract, then you would not be eligible.

The company has already bought a car that belongs to itself, not me. I'm allowed to use it in exchange for paying BIK.
The new JSA appears to be based solely on your job income (zero) and your pension, nothing else.
I'll leave it to them to decide if eligible, but I can't see...

It's a disgrace to pay national insurance and then when out of work, to claim JSA? It's this a tough-man thing.
Next you'll be telling me real men don't use ISAs and don't postpone their dividends to avoid paying higher rate tax...!...

You don't have to be out of work to claim JSA, you just have to be working less than 16 hours, and your income (which for me is zero) would reduce any payments....

Out of work atm, looking at the new style JSA: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/new-styl...-new-style-jsa
It looks lke you can claim if you pause salary payments to yourself from your LTD (just taking those to use up my personal allowance while unemployed)....
