I would say people need to go in with eyes open when engaging legal services to handle your affairs, and periodically assess the situation whether they are getting what they want and receiving value for money.

As much as I am wary of advising others in engaging with Elysium with regards to the W28St correspondence (because of the red flags already discussed), they did do an analysis of the FS Capital v Adams case.

It does seem to me that they have finally realised that they can't extract the alleged loans via Isle of Man law, which seems to have now run its course, so now they are trying to somehow implicate it to English law through a mixture of contrived application of law and confected paperwork.

If they are claiming they are CCA regulated, then seeing as the CCA is authorised and regulated by the FCA, I would think it should definitely be reported to the FCA making clear that W28 has laid claim to a disputed loan many years later and are now claiming for the first time that they are regulated...

The pile of paper sent by W28St contains a deed of assignment claiming to assign the rights to the loan from Felicitas Solutions to West 28th Street.
How can this be when Felicitas Solutions has dissolved years before the deed of assignment date 24th April 2026?

You should be careful if disputing the debt as statute barred as your only line of defence, as that may infer that admission that a debt exists.
There are many other arguments laid out by the professionals that dispute the existence of the loan, and if you go down the route of saying it...
