Debt Crystallisation
An admission of debt that has crystallised means that a debtor has formally acknowledged a specific amount of money is owed to a creditor, and that debt is now fixed, due, and legally binding.

You should be careful if disputing the debt as statute barred as your only line of defence, as that may infer that admission that a debt exists.
There are many other arguments laid out by the professionals that dispute the existence of the loan, and if you go down the route of saying it...
