it's february and our consumption from the grid, for example yesterday is 11.8 / 0.3 going to be for yesterday 1/39th of what it would have been without the panels

they've been operational since the end of January
24 panels 11.8kw total capacity
evening on cloudy days, because they are in one line 50metres with no obstruction, south facing, on cloudy days they are filling the batteries

before the lecky car though, we will get a 300l electric boiler installed
that'll use some of the over capacity and reduce the gas bill

well, if your neighbours have panels then ask what performance they are getting
our panels are in the garden, and facing south with no obstructions and the performance from them is first class, we are sending 15 to 30kw to the grid each day because we don't have enough storage capacity...

of our daily kw consumption, these days even with snowy weather, only 20% of that is from the grid
the last few days had small periods of brightness and got the grid usage to 10% of our daily consumption
does that help or shall I draw a picture and invite for a Teams call ?...

that is so funny
it's the middle of winter and cloudy and snowing, and the panels are reducing our grid consumption to 20% of the daily electricity usage, for the last few days panels and batteries have reduced the grid consumption to between zero and 10% of the daily household electricity...
