Just had a neighbour round to ask us if we'd mind chopping down a Eucalyptus tree in our back garden as it's blocking his Sky dish. He has a point actually - it is pretty massive. And the best part is he'll go 50/50 on any costs.

The snails were out in force tonight - I did my best to avoid them, but I have a feeling one or two didn't cope too well with the sudden transition to homelessness
The simultaneous transition to flatness probably didn't help... honestly, I try to avoid them, but they really shouldn't be on the pavement at that time of night - they're very hard to see under street lighting whose power is diminished by the shadows of rhododendra and suchlike shrubs
