My all time favourite scene is in, I think, the 2nd series, where the Judge and Angelus & his crew are going to feed in the Mall.

The Judge comes out with the immortal line "I cannot be killed by a weapon forged by mortal man"...

Whereupon Buffy says "That was then, this is now" & shoots him with a bazooka....

I just love that scene.

1st year very busy, second year contract kept getting extended when I wasn't expecting it to... Has helped with the bench fund a bit though

Happily quite quiet here as well this morning, though I could do with a kip but think that might be noticed...

This is that beginning of the day bit where everyone's got into work - made sure that client contact/boss/managers etc have noticed that, they've fired up the PC, opened Outlook, said hi to TPD, opened up something worky so it looks like they're busy then gone off to waste a good 1/2 an hour in the canteen/outside or wherever people go to do this.

Am I right??

Today is the day that Bear has gone to work in his own office. logged on to laptop, logged on to 2nd laptop and connected to ClientCo network.

gone to kitchen, made cup of tea, grabbed paper and sat down in the Chesterfield to enjoy.

The fella sat opposite me has nodded off a couple of times during the last week, much to the amusement of the office

Worryingly, I was giving a presentation a few years ago to a supplier and one of their guys was obviously asleep. Trying not to take this personally I soldiered on with the powerpoint and hoping one of his colleagues would do something other than smile about it.

I sped through the rest of the presentation as fast as I could, and assumed that the lights coming back on would be sufficient to wake the guy up. It wasn't. Turns out the guy was diabetic and was slipping into a coma. His colleagues had 'forgotten' his condition and had also assumed he was asleep. Ended up requiring an ambulance on site.
