Just wasted about an hour trying to work out why I couldn't get a Facebook app to work.

It turns out that a certain field has to be all lowercase - this is mentioned precisely nowhere in any documentation, using mixed case doesn't cause any kind of error when you save the configuration, and the error message that it causes when you try to use the app describes a completely different error of no apparent relevance
