I would like to point out that a failure to respond should not be seen as an admission of guilt.
The right to silence and the presumption of innocence are the most important cornerstones of any system of justice.
And no, I am not saying this in the way that I might suggest that you not think of a blue monkey, but because these are probably the most important freedoms we have, and they should not be sullied by idle speculation even in the context of an online forum.
