Experiment: a £40, 14 litre mini-fridge from Argos: what is its cooling power?
Switched on at 18:25 in a room with a temperature of 18°C. 5 normal 75cl wine bottles put in there which were also at the same room temperature of 18°C. Total liquid: 3.75 litres. Also a kilo or so of glass bottles.

      At 19:25, 15°C
      At 20:25, 11°C
      At 21:25, 10°C
      At 22:25, 9°C
      At 23:25, 7°C

I suppose I could fire up my laptop & see if my graphs are on it...

            That's assuming it still works.

Like most of these things, I seem to recall that it was exponential... tending to about 5 deg C as a minimum for the LIDL beach cooler thing I was experimenting with.

It was part of a study to see if a portable fridge could operate for 48 hours off internal batteries.

                    Hello!

I am backing up my server & PCs; transferring my email to my laptop; transferring documents to laptop; copying stuff to my external drive; mirroring stuff to my super-ruggedised external drive (to take with me).

                    (and drinking beer.)
