That's what I'd always been told, but it seems that you can.Originally posted by Bear View PostI thought you couldn't get it again - which I was relieved about seeing as Mrs Bear is pregnant - it's nasty if you're pregnant!!
Thing to be really careful of with babies and chicken pox is that they become more susceptible to pneumonia, so keep an eye out.Comment

Well, there you go then. They need to get some carpets down. With those cold floors, no wonder they get chest infections.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostIt was my guess that that's what the doc had said - no idea what the diagnosis really was. They gave my baby an inhaler just in case, which seems to help a lot.
They have no carpets, so it can't be that.

Tell me about it - it really winds me up - there are thousands of polish people in my home town now and they get such a lot of grief - the Irish are so insular and have very short memories... I have to keep reminding my family that me and sis are immigrants too...Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostI remember seeing a Lenny Henry programme when he was in Ireland and they were talking about racism. People were saying that they thought it was quite ironic that some people in Ireland were slagging off the Poles for nicking the jobs etc. etc. given the historical emigration rate of the Irish

Although my parents are pretty good - there are always various waifs and strays that working in the hospital where Mammy works who she brings home on Christmas day and stuff 'cos she doesn't want them to be alone... it's usually a good party even if I don't know who half them are... we all can understand each other after a few Vodkas
