Indeed - my dad manages the stock well, though. When they moved house, he cleared all the wood from there to the new one, and since they were ripping out the garden, he cut everything back then too.Originally posted by Bear View PostBetter if it's seasoned for a couple of years first.

Having some woodland at the bottom of the garden helps as well though.
My sister's lot is from a woodman (plus the trees that they felled in the summer) - their lot is drying out, the rest is all ready for the first fire when we get there.Comment
