My dad taught me the benefits of having too many rather than too few points - when we put the electrics in my cellar, we put 16 sockets in there

I've used 3 in total since then!!

When we bought our house, the dining room only had 1 single socket in. I soon rectified that when I did the room. Doubles on every wall.

I have a Tom Tom 710, which I'm very pleased with.

My dad has just bought a Garmin 660T which has free travel alerts (might just be for the first year, free) - I pay £20 a year for traffic alerts, and it needs a phone connection which the garmin doesn't.

Come to think about it I've done every room at least once and added loads of sockets. Even when I have done the same room again I add more.

£220 or there abouts. He had it recommended by a friend of theirs who has got one, but it's not arrived yet.

Single socket needed, just buy an 8 way surge protector

Seems reasonable, I will look at that tomorrow.
The accountant has said its a valid expense, so I should really listen to her
