    Morning denizens

It’s a sunny start with wisps and strands of mares’ tails hither and yon, possibly presaging a turn in the weather. Today will be a hot one though: currently 18°C, it predicted to hit 29° though it’ll cool down later in the week, even dipping below 20° on Thursday. The barometers are down to 1002/1009mB

Monday again, and back to work. I’m hoping there won’t be much to do, though it’s the start of the month and that’s when the finance people tend to trigger obscure bugs that have been in there since 2020 and just never happened to show up before

Got to take me little van to the village garage for service shortly. Old fart meet up at local manor this afternoon, says it's in a shady place thank gawd.

        Morning.

        Monday.

        Dry.

        Wanly sunny.

        Blue sky with high cloud.

21.1 deg in here, 22.5 in the kitchen, 21 in the leanto, 19 out the back.

1005.5 mBar, 29.69 in Hg, 754.2 Torr, 14.58 psi, (down from 1007 last night), 54% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 2nd of April 2020, between 09:45 and 09:48, covbob, LM, and WTFH popped in.

This morning's dream before waking seemed to involve some odd sort of tank in WWII and an unsuccessful attempt to cross the lines & surrender: everyone died (or would have if I hadn't woken up, dunno where the woman came from but there you go). I love a happy ending. .

Shopping trip to Morrisons done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away.

Too damn hot out there for a walk today.

Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: some R4 prog about a drug dealer, obviously a slow learner. <click> Tony Hawkes on Inheritance: repeat, listened to it the last time. <click> "How did we get to here, part II: China". Sky Arts: Wonderlands Part I.

          Morning all

Cloudy. Looks damp out. It's allegedly drizzling but I can't see any. More intermittent rain expected until early afternoon when the sun is due to make an appearance. Currently 15 degrees, with a high of 18 expected. Barometer down to 1015 mBar.

          Sunrise 05:25; Sunset 21:20 BST

I don't like the look of the forecast down south.

Today I have a meeting with gig1. A waste of time but smile and invoice is the name of the game.

Those of us in the SE seem to have the worst of it. 32 today. Not a drop of rain for weeks. Good job I have some permanently shady bits at the bottom of my garden.

Lunch has been some Popeyes hot wings, reheated in the air fryer for a few minutes to crisp them back up, with ketchup
