    Morning.

    Sunday.

    Dry.

    Sunny.

    Blue sky.

Chilly in here at 14.4 deg, 12 deg in the kitchen, 12 in the leanto.

1022 mBar, 30.18 in Hg, 766.6 Torr, 14.82 psi, (up from 1021 last night), 67% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 25th of March 2020 AndyGarbs, LM & I popped in, whilst Brillo popped in a lot.

Walk (unabbreviated, towpath) walked in the wan sunshine.

Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: thing about Paddington the musical's songwriter chap.

I think my mikro wav eee is wearing out: the turntable intermittently stopped going around. I may have to get the old one out of the garage.

"Tina Turner live in Barcelona 1990" turned on just in time for "Don't need another hero". She's wearing that chainmail(like) dress. What there is of it. Strewth, looks like it was a bit warm in Barcelona in July 1990. Goodness me, she was hot. The next dress had lots of holes for ventilation.

Tea: beans on toast with scrambled egg, just for a change. Entertainment: thing about microplastics in food & drink.

Beyond Skinwalker Ranch. More Blaze bollox. This time they visit the alleged landing place in 1965 of Die Glocke. .

Sergeant Cork. S3 E13 "The case of the cynical traitor". Cooperation between the German and British merchants of death with pressure from The Great and The "Good".

Blaze: A ship through time: stone me, a documentary on Blaze that's not bollox: all about the ship found in Newport, Gwent (as it was then) in 2002.

DMAX: Ancient unexplained files. Ah, that's better. CT scans on ancient mummies.

Went to cinema with not loony lady 3 yesterday after me woodland volunteery thing. Gawd, what a boring film! Nearly all the seats empty as usual, dunno how cinemas survive these days. Got to travel to Rye tomorrow to meet up with an old uni friend.

        Afternoon all

Sunny with lumps of fluff. Currently 13 degrees with a high of 14 expected. Barometer up to 1026 mBar.

        Sunrise 05:57; Sunset 20:05 BST

No visit to Mum today; I decided to have a quiet day to myself. I really ought to strip the bed, get it airing and start the laundering.

Slept well, with the window open a little bit

          Afternoon denizens

It’s sunny and Simpsonesque out, with enough of a breeze to keep it cool: currently 12°C (“feels like” 10°) and not rising above 13°. The barometers are up to 1014/1022mB

Almost finished reading Here, There and Everywhere but I’ll leave the final chapter till tomorrow, as I want to be up at a reasonable time tomorrow

Speaking of tomorrow: it’s Monday again, but I’m not working this week!

                Goodnight all

CBS, etc, but signs of frost in some of the fields. A very peasant walk that started around 5:45, done my 10,000 steps already
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

                    Morning denizens

A clear blue sky out apart from some distant bands of cloud on the horizon, which satellite imagery suggests are actually over Cambridgeshire and south Lincolnshire. It’s 7°C but “feels like” 11°, so who knows what the expected high of 12° will feel like? The barometers are steady at 1013/1021mB

                      Morning.

                      Monday.

                      Dry.

                      Sunny.

                      Blue sky.

Chilly in here at 14.6 deg, 13 in the kitchen, 12 in the leanto, 9.4 in the saltinghouse.

1019 mBar, 30.09 in Hg, 764.3 Torr, 14.779 psi, (down from 1019.5 last night), 66% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 25th of March 2020 the plague was progressing and covbob, LM, NF, quackhandle (who was celebrating 10 years on the forum) and Brillo popped in.

                      Washing frenzy in progress.

Another wonderful night's sleep with waking up at 05:15 for a change, the racket from the bypass being louder than usual and the bedroom window seals failing to keep it out.

Read book. Listened to R4. Eventually went back to sleep.

Shopping trip to Morrisons done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away.

Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: noon o'clock news. Y&Y waffling on about builders, vegetarians becoming meat eaters. <click>

That requiring the iRon has received its attentions & is airing upstairs. Only two towels left on the line.

Entertainment was provided by The Archive Hour: "The Naked Ape" with the usual suspects in interviews of varying antiquity: Desmond Morris is still alive at the grand old age of 98*.

*Well he was still alive up until yesterday. .

Now getting outside a mug of mediocre but consistent coffee.

Was about to take an Iceland shopping trolley back down to town but it disappeared during the iRoning frenzy.

Tea: chicken in white sauce etc. Nice enough. Entertainment: PM.

                      SkinWalker Ranch bollox on Blaze.

NCIS S22 E14 "Close to home".
