The time machine option on TPD should be a user configurable feature. I'd love to be taken back to an historic post. Some of DrS's mentions make me spend ages hunting down that date on the thread and looking at what I was doing around that time.

The drive down to Sussex was uneventful and quite free flowing. The drive back was slower.
Mum tried to argue that you can't call a bathroom a bathroom if it doesn't have a bath in it (we were watching A Place in the Sun). So my brother and I asked what she calls the room that she has a shower in and then she contradicted herself pretty much instantly. It was quite funny. You had to be there.
My brother was very impressed by the body work done on my car, which was a relief. I was pleased with it but he gave it a close inspection and said that it was a really good job.Comment

How about a “Go to date” feature? Useful for TPD, and the Dead Celebrities thread is getting a bit big now too. People might like being able to see who died on this day x years ago and so onOriginally posted by ladymuck View PostThe time machine option on TPD should be a user configurable feature. I’d been thinking for a while that it would be useful, but it would have been a nightmare to add to the present incarnation. I reckon it shouldn’t be too complicated with the new platformOriginally posted by ladymuck View Post

I found time for a bit more mucking around with CoreGraphics stuff this evening. Points can now be labelled with their coordinates
And in Ambient, things are about to get complicated
Monday again tomorrow! Oh well
Goodnight all

Morning denizens
It’s a rainy start out, having been a rainy night - so much so that it woke me up at one point. Apparently milder with it at 12°C, though it “feels like” 5° because it’s also windy; the expected high is 12°. The barometers are up a touch at 996/1003mB

Morning all
It wasn't raining on our walk, but it is now. Blowing an absolute hooley at the back of the house, but it was sheltered and warm (12C) on the walk.
All play bin day, and they are just picking up our black bin now.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Morning.
Monday.
Grey.
Dark.
Dank.
Dreary.
Drizzly.
Windy.
Sunless.
Chilly in here at 16.4 deg, 15.5 in the kitchen, 14 in the leanto.
1005 mBar, 29.6776 in Hg, 753.8 Torr, 14.576 psi, (down from 1006 last night), 64% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 27th of February 2020 Brillo popped in a lot, LM disagreed with him over some comestible, NF remembered to put the bins out, and so did LM.
Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: someone waffling about tax followed by someone waffling about history. <click>
Bored. Now. Book. Other book. Other other book. Finished book.
Discovering Robert Reiner. "Stand by Me", "Spinal Tap", "Harry met Sally", "Misery" etc.
Tea: chilli con carne etc. Nice enough: Morrisons version this time. Bit more kick than the Tesco, but that might be due to the added chilli powder.
Entertainment: PM <click> Must be broken: no mention of Andrew Saxe Coburg Gotha.
.
The Nazi programme.
The Oak Island Nutjobbery: investigations into the piece of chain they found last week. Bigger chunk of chain, some of it old, some of it notsoold. Bit of wood with a spike/nail in it. A sort of pin punch thingie called a set. The aladin's cave thing may have had a roof collapse. Talking about Yet Another can being put down. The garden shaft is still leaking like a sieve. They found a glass bead in the round depression thing.
Trump and the tech bros: Panorama. Dunno how much of this will fly, maybe the Cuban Crisis thing on Alba is more to my taste.
