    Still wet and windy here.

The trees are waving about a lot.

    Barometer standing at 1013 mbar.

And yes, there was a peg in the TD.

Lunch: leek and potato soup (Heinz) with Morrisons wholemeal sunflower and spelt bread, ham and mustard sandwich on same, yellow corner yog, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Once I've done the dishes, the shirts will be out of the TD, the sheets will be in the TD, and a bit of rough ironing will occur.

An electrician appears to have turned up to look at the errant uplighter at the front of the building.

I suspect that will see the end of having nicely dark evenings.

In other news, I now have a cake in the oven. Mum requested a coffee and walnut cake for her birthday next week. I'll be popping it down on Sunday.

Zingy chicken, tomato and lentil soup for lunch, with the usual bits of bread. Just the thing for a grey, damp, breezy day

        Reverse trundling has been done

And a towel wash (light colours) is on

Lunch was a bacon butty, with HP sauce.
            and earl grey tea.
            yum.

              Still windy & even wetter.

Shirts ironed roughly and hung up on hangers from the picture rails in the bedroom.

Smalls airing in the front bedroom.

Sheets out of the TD and airing over the banisters.

Cottons still in WM1 and into the TD at about 14:15.

Lunch: half a toasted sandwich, as in the bread was toasted but the contents (ham and cheese) were not.

Looks like I have a fun afternoon of filling in change requests. What fun I shall have.
