Well there's a thing, my complaint to the BBfeckingC "cannot be circulated because of unacceptable language".
What a fecking surprise.
Tosspots.
I think I'll complain to Ofcom & the Governors instead.
Resubmitted sans the swearing that the poor dears can't cope with.
The ofcom one will have to wait until I have a case number.
<shopping & walking home from town hiatus>
Home again home again jiggety jig.
Supplies of M&S ?breaded? chunky haddock have been suitably augmented.
After I've cooled down a bit it's time for a bit more spring cleaning.
Or I could venture down to the garage & attempt to reach some other tvs that could profitably go to meet the recycling skip.
Then again it's hot out there & cooler in here.
The attempt at getting a haircut was abandoned due to the size of the queue at the barbers, there being but the one barber on duty.
"Three chairs no waiting" my hairy arse.

Speaking of which, I forgot the ibuprfen gel this morning and I'm now paying for it.
And why, if I'm going to bump an elbow, is it always the painful one?
Is it just to ensure that it's totally fecking excruciating?
Now awaiting with interest the reply to my latest complaint to the BBfeckingC.
I left out the bit about the arts grads and muscle bound jocks* this time.
*As in strap rather Scottish, just to make it clear, like.

I reckon you're better off with that attitude than curling up in a ball and moaningOriginally posted by BR14 View PostThanks.

When I worked for Age Concern visiting housebound "frail and elderly" people (not sure if they still use that term but they did in the 1980s) I found there were basically two types: the ones who spent all their time slumped in their chair bemoaning their fate and saying they couldn't do things because of the terrible state they were in; and the ones, often in a much worse state, whose attitude was to just keep on going regardless and {insert whatever debilitating medical conditions they had} be damned. The latter always seemed to get a lot more out of life, be much happier and more comfortable, and seemed to live a lot longer too
