Tea has been sausage, egg, chips, and beans; very nice
And then a quick excursion to the Amazon Locker. It's not actually raining out there, but there's a lot of damp hanging about in the air. Pretty mild, though

The days of dogs was followed by Mr Portillo reminding us how close we came to not being here any more in October 1962.
And how unimpressive the Civil Defence preparations were.
Though, to be fair, there wasn't much point since the country would have become a radioactive desert. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

The first film in tonight's double bill was The Next Three Days (2010), in which a woman is sent to prison for a murder she didn't commit. Her husband then concocts a plan to break her out and get her and their child out of the country, despite being a respectable middle class chap and therefore totally unsuited to the task. Bit of a slow burner, this one, but it gets there in the end. Worth a watch.
And to follow, a rewatch of Run All Night (2015), in which Liam Neeson is a washed up, alcoholic gangster who ends upon the wrong side of both the gang and the cops. Also worth a watch, and it burns a lot faster
Goodnight all

Morning.
Almost in the realms of CBS here, or as CBS as it ever gets in south Wales.
Dry.
A bit cooler than yesterday.
Windless.
16 deg in the living room, 10.9 deg in the laundry room with a min of 10.8 deg.
Bedding wash on going.
When that's done I'll stick the stuff I wear around the house in for a long overdue swill.
Which will be this afternoon by the time the first lot has finished.
Can't stop itching after that bedbug thing Specifically In General, have reaslised quite how many 2nd hand dvds I have.
That may have put the kibosh on that particular hobby.
