Not much sleep last night as the space cadet in bed with me started various weird and wonderful conversations about every 20 minutes.

It's not raining or anything; the air is just really damp. The roads look as if there's been drizzle which stopped a short time ago, but there hasn't been any rain at all. Very odd.

25 minutes queuing up in the bank to withdraw cash. 25 minutes! There were only 2 people infront of me. I can only assume that automation of the easy jobs leaves the non standard cases to clog up the counters, but that doesn't explain the length of time it took them to cash an old ladies cheque.
