Has anyone watched White Gold? I watched the first episode on iPlayer yesterday and have downloaded the next couple. Does it get going? I'm unsure about it, but might persevere, because there are a lot of parallels with 15+ years ago in the IT contracting lark.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Oh Beeb are doing Theresa v Boris.
It would be far better for them to do the special advisers."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Not up here, I've got a show about Billy Connolly, a professional comedian, not a couple of amateurs.Originally posted by SueEllen View PostOh Beeb are doing Theresa v Boris.

I liked it actually, not too bad, in actual fact very funny in places.
Not as good as Phone Shop, to me, however.
IT Crowd had its moments as well.
A little longer than 15 years ago and I knew people contracting in IT that made the Loadsa Money character look like an amateur.
"Java 2.5K a day, mate, my companies registered in the Caymans, mate, tax free, mate", etc. etc. often complete with a face load of Cocaine induced spittle.
Thems were the days
