Quite liked the idea of what it was trying to achieve, acting let it down and a little too drawn out... If I find myself checking the time whilst watching then it's lost my interest...Join IPSE -
Oh, I do that all the time.Originally posted by Alias View PostIf I find myself checking the time whilst watching then it's lost my interest...
If you want a film that'll really make you do that, then I can recommend "Duel in the Sun" a.k.a. "Lust in the Dust".
Interminable is not the word for it.
Fecking Interminable barely scratches the surface.
"The Last Picture Show" is nearly as slow, but rather less pretentious.
I wonder when I watched Adjustment Bureau.Comment

Home again
Almost exactly two hours to get here from Holborn. Driving up to the M1 via Islington, Highbury, Holloway, Archway, Highgate, and points north is bearable on a Sunday, as long as you set off early enough

BuggerOriginally posted by FiveTimes View PostCertainly is. It got the budget pulled the day before I was due to start.
Good job that didn't happen after you'd got there, though

Ah, I'm seriously out of touch with broadcast TVOriginally posted by zeitghost View PostYes, I watched that too. NCIS NO is, Oh Boy, on it's 2nd season so it's not really an intro.

Well it's the fecking end of that bit. The other end broke some time ago.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostEnd of the line?
Just waiting for the bit in the middle to break next.
Anyway, the roast leg of lamb was rather nice.
Followed by stewed apple & custard.
Yum.Comment
