Rather grey and humid here now. Very quiet in the office as everyone's either out on jobs or managed to get work on last night's elections and so are on leave.

I've decided not to go down to London today, on the basis that this time last year I travelled down on Saturday morning and it was fine, whereas if I go today I'll end up spending the evening in the Harp, and feel seriously hungover for Boring VI tomorrow. Terribly grownup and sensible of me, I know

Agent rang to say he could get more a lot more money if I binned this gig. Had to tell him I didn't take this gig because of the rate but the rate is part of the reason I can do what I plan to do.

I can't however do any work as this is the first place I don't have admin access to my box so I've got to make a request and wait a day to get the dll I need. Then I will discover that I need another one.

Think it's only cost them £3000 so far in time spent not able to do stuff. Sadly I'm running out of things I can do
