In other news, the relay board I made in 2 hours yesterday successfully blew up a not inexpensive DAC output board.

Of course sticking 24V onto the 5V rail* probly didn't help a great deal, all in all.

*Both marked as "5V" on the component side of the board.

Well the PIC Start Plus are being upgraded even as I type.

Someone was waffling on about not being able to program a PIC16F887 this morning & it kinda got up my nose.

Which, as I'm sure we're all aware, is not necessarily a good thing so to do.
