Heard last night that sister-in-law's elderly moggie got mauled by a dog. Nasty injuries including punctured liver. Vet advised euthanasia.
Dog is a rescue dog - never out without a muzzle, but had, on this occasion, 'escaped'. Owner is paying vet's bill (and is obv very distressed). Should dog be put down? I think sis-in-law is leaving that decision to the owner. Tough call.Comment

We have an elderly rescue cat. One eye. Continually savaged in the food bin. Always annoys the other cats.Comment
