Bloody cold out there this morning.
Warming up with a coffee. Sunrise looks like it's shaping up to be a good one this morning."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

I think this is the first morning this winter where there has been a hint of 'winter' to proceedings. A frozen windscreen to deal with although no other frost knocking about. Would have been quite ideal for cycling in, but for having to collect the kids later on
The council appears to have purchased some fancy new machine to do grit spreading. Rather then a man on the back of a flat bed truck with a shovel, this thing leaves a very neat, and quite concentrated 'path' of grit about half a metre wide. I have only seen the evidence of it's passing, not the machine itself. From my eyrie overlooking the square it appears like a giant salty slug trail.Comment
