Just looked at the Met Office observations map - about thirty minutes ago, the only cluster of lightning strikes north of London was densely concentrated around Newport Pagnell

Show her the top gear video of Hammond in a polo being struck by lightening. Its a Faraday cage. No doubt Zeity can tell us what that is - but it sounds like a cage to me.....
