I cycled to work today in shorts and wicking shirt. Soon I will need long trousers or a jumper. Last year it was 2nd Dec. Will I last longer this year?

I broke today and had top and bottom waterproofs - I could have braved it but it would have been bloody painful - my fingers were extremely cold at 07:15 this morning.
If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.

On the ride home last night I passed the first of this years "Domestic Illuminations". Waving Santa's, reindeer, snowmen, the lot. All lit up with a couple of KW worth of bulbs.

Last Night. A house on one of the main roads near us has had them up and on for the past two weeks.
I've put my foot down and said we are putting everything up on the 9th. But that's only because Mrs Eek is away on the weekend of the 16th.
