Walk (abbreviated, 3 miles) walked in the sunshine. The hill up from the lock reminded me I hadn't done it for a couple of days.
Entertainment: Dan Do. Cartrefi Cymru: contemporary houses. EOS for both.
Lunch: brunch.

Tea: soup (of the tomato variety today for some reason: doesn't happen often) along with that very solid Morrisons wholemeal thick sliced that requires help to go down my gullet. Nice enough. At least it helps keep you regular, as it were.

Filthy Fortunes on DMAX: clearing the property (all 10 acres thereof) of the lifetime accumulation of tools & junk owned by a deceased machinist. Stone me there was a lot of it, much ended up as scrap metal, but lots of it was sold to collectors/machinists/mechanics who wanted such things. The family ended up with $16.8k in cash and a property that was clear of junk. I wonder how he got the artic trailer in there.
More Blazian bollox: World War Weird: the Me109 pilot who escorted a shotup B24 bomber to the Channel so they could get back to Britain. Adolph's drug habit and The Cunning Plan to slip oestrogen into his carrots. The "Russians with snow on their boots" thing from WWI (apparently referring to 100,000 Russians, said Russians being a type of egg), and the German spy Carl Hans Lody who was the first man executed in the Tower of London for 150 years. Davy Crocket bomb/demolition munition and the Soviet RA115 suitcase nuke.
Secret Wars: Grenada or how Ronnie pissed off the Milk Snatching Great She Elephant by invading same, it being a Commonwealth Country & all. Funny how the septics weren't keen on giving a hand during the Falklands innit. Where was NATO Section 5 then? And the Frogs selling the mother****ers missiles. Have we forgotten that too?
