I finished reading Station Eleven tonight. Excellent book

The white loaf seems to have turned out very nicely

I don’t think we’ve had any more rain, but it still seems a bit windy out. It looks like tomorrow will be sunny but, thankfully, won’t get any warmer as a result

    Goodnight all

      Morning.

      Friday.

      Dry.

      Grey.

      Sunless.

21.2 deg in here, 21.6 in the kitchen, 19 in the leanto, 14 out the back.

1006.5 mBar, 29.72 in Hg, 754.9 Torr, 14.598 psi, (up from 1004 last night), 62% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 2nd of April 2020, between 21:51 and 22:09, Brillo posted a lot, whilst NF got a post in edgeways.

Walk (abbreviated, 3 miles) walked in the bracing air of the morning. Took a while to warm up, but the hill up from the lock certainly helped with that.

Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: Sky Arts: Film thing: Korda.

      Dan Do repeat.

Expedition thing waffling on about Brother XII and de Courcy Island off British Columbia.

      Jack Hargreaves Old Country:

Tea: Mr Brains faggots etc. Entertainment: PM.

Bab5 S3 E10 "Severed Dreams". Last best hope & all that.

Taggart S16 E2: "A fistful of chips". Salt & vinegar with those?

Morning all, Tallinn calling, local time 1127

Sunny with lumps of fluff. Rain set to return this afternoon/evening. Currently 18 degrees ('feels like' 21) with a high of 20 expected. Barometer at 1007 mBar.

        Sunrise 05:52; Sunset 20:55 EEST

Yesterday I had a brain fart and got myself confused about how far north we were and couldn't understand why sunset in Glasgow was before here

Dinner was in the hotel yesterday as we were both knackered. It has a very good Nikkei restaurant, decently priced.

Today we are doing more exploring of the old town. There's lots of independent shops, which is always nice to see.

              Morning denizens

It’s sunny and Simpsonesque out, but not getting too hot: 15°C now, but not pushing past 19°, which is sensible of it. The barometers are bouncing back at 1002/1010mB

I awoke not long after the alarm would have woken me had it been set, which it wasn’t. This was clearly far too early, so I went back to sleep and reawoke a couple of hours later; and I feel much better for it. I’ve been getting to sleep later than I should have been this week, so I had some catching up to do

                  Ham toastie for lunch

The white loaf turned out very well

Unfortunately, I managed to cut myself with the ultra-sharp bread knife while slicing it up for freezing. Just a small cut on the edge of a finger by the nail, but it bled a lot

Close shave. Was waiting for loony lady1 at local National Trust place and NOT loony lady 3 came up to me. When ll1 came out of the bog I told her it was just someone I knew from my group walks. She don't like me seeing other ladies even though we are not a thing.
