    Morning.

    Saturday? <checks clock>

    Dry.

    Grey.

    Sunless.

Cool in here at 19.6 deg, 20 in the kitchen, 18 in the leanto.

996 mBar, 29.4 in Hg, 747 Torr, 14.445 psi, (up from 995 last night), 68% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 13th of February 2020 NF watched S1E1 of "Hill Street Blues". Let's be careful out there, even more so for vetran with his new drill press and plasma cutter from Lidl(tm).

Walk (towpath, unabbreviated) walked in the grey gloom. It even deigned to drizzle on me for 5 minutes at the start and 2 minutes at the finish.

Freecell score: 97%, running average: 83%.

    Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: FOOC.

In the ongoing rainy grey gloom I chose to look at some railway picture books, mostly coz I can't be arsed with any of the other, other other, other other other, or other other other other books at the moment due to ongoing existential angst.

Not sure that looking at the sometime magnificence of so much that's been destroyed was a good idea.

It's quite remarkable that Swansea had six railway stations at one point.

Tea: soup etc. Entertainment: sticking pins in my Trump doll. .

    Entertainment: PM.

Maigret "The experts (1960)". The American hoods one.

Couple of old eps of The Bad Skin Clinic from 2020.

        Morning denizens

Cloudy with sunny spells today, and rather breezy with it. There's likely to be rain around teatime and on into the evening. Mild enough though, being 19°C and maybe reaching 20° for a while. The barometers are back up a bit at 990/998mB

          Afternoon all

Sunny with increasing cloud cover, making me think it won't last much longer. Currently 19 degrees ('feels like' 25) and that's the high for the day. Rain could happen. Barometer up to 1003 mBar.

          Sunrise 06:11; Sunset 19:52 BST

A faffing about type of day today. Sort of packing for tomorrow's trip to Madrid while looking at flight options for other trips we'd like to do.

Back from nice long walk with loony lady 3. Two loony lady free days to come now.

PS Actually ll3 does not seem loony, may need renaming.

                Sausage bap for lunch

Social media appears to be full of rumours that Trump is dead. It's not just on Bluesky; apparently it's all over Twitter and Threads too. As far as I can see, there's no reason to believe it to be true, but it's a nice thought and everybody seems to be enjoying it

^^ There's been lots of chatter about how he's unwell, with people mentioning his swollen ankles a lot.

Yes, that's suggestive of congestive heart failure apparently. And the hand bruising is supposedly indicative of collapsed veins

If he has snuffed it, I suspect it'll be like when Octavia, Daughter of God and founder of the Panacea Society, died: they'll wait three days in the belief that he'll rise again, but eventually be forced by the smell to accept that it isn't going to happen

Lets hope it's like The Death of Stalin, when the Evil Mother****er is left to stew in his own vile juices for three days before anyone does anything.

There'll be a Little Song in My Heart should it prove true. .

From the sounds of things Vance is really up for that approach. .

Luke 12: 20 always springs to mind:
