I don't know. They're two separate applications with their own "servers", but everything's containerised now so while one could go down independently of the other, a failure at a lower level in the infrastructure could take everything down

Tea has been the Madhur Jaffrey chicken curry with rice

I forgot to buy naan again last week

This was accompanied by Storyville - The Contestant (in fact, I'm still watching it), the bizarre story of the Japanese guy who spent over a year in a small room, living only on what he could win in magazine competitions, completely unaware that his travails were being broadcast to the nation and had become the most successful show ever on Japanese telly

Well, not completely unaware, but they'd told him at the start that most of the footage would probably be thrown away - which was true, but what he didn't know was that the cameras were on almost all the time

        Scrambled Maps is broken!

It's offsetting the drag events which makes it move the wrong tile and as a result, the tiles from the bottom two rows and rightmost two columns can't be moved at all

I've emailed them about it, so I'm hoping they fix it soon

          It was fine this morning.

I put the towel wash on late, on one of the longer cycles to make sure they're properly washed. Now I'm torn between staying up to hang them out when it finishes or leaving them festering in the WM until the morning.

You could make your own! The bread maker can do the dough and then you just shape and cook it in a frying pan.

Scrambled Maps is fixed! He emailed me and said he couldn't reproduce it but admitted that he'd pushed various changes to do with both the square and hex maps, so he'd rolled them back. He also asked me to check the hex maps, and I found that while the square maps now worked, the hex maps are broken in the same way! So I think he's still got some work to do

Tonight's major motion picture premiere was Warfare (2025), the true story (usual caveats apply) of stuff going wrong for some US Navy SEALs in Ramadi, Iraq, back in the day. It was pretty good albeit very gory at times

And then S2E2 of The Last of Us.

                Goodnight all

Max and I are both wide awake, so we’re heading out for a big walk.

                      Morning all

                      TFIF, etc.
Misty in the valley and quite humid out.
Had our first fresh fig for breakfast this morning.
