We've knocked off early, as we've done everything that can be done today to prepare for tomorrow's big migration and had just ended up sitting staring at the big spreadsheet itemising the steps we shall take, wondering if we'd missed anything
No early finish tomorrow though; the migration kicks off at 16:00 and will finish at 19:30 if everything goes according to plan, with the meeting showing in the calendar as running until 21:30, in case it doesn't
Chilly in here at 15.3 deg, 15.5 in the kitchen, 13 in the leanto, 8 in the saltinghouse.
1023 mBar, 30.21 in Hg, 767.3131 Torr, 14.8373 psi, (up from 1021 last night), 53% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 8th of January 2020 it was unseasonably warm at 11 deg, Brillo popped in to share his suffering, BR14 popped in, I was in with the hoi polloi in the library (it's more than 5 years since last I did that), NF remarked on how warm it was, as did opm, and warning was given not to cast a clout til May be out, with Brillo giving the explanation thereof.
Washing frenzy ongoing.
Walk (unabbreviated) walked in the wan sunshine. Alternate route back. Pollen count seems high.
Lunch: brunch.
Entertainment: 5 minutes of the thing about rare earths. Y&Y <click>.
Freecell score: 83%, running average: 82%.
Bed reassembled (aside from the duvet cover) to avoid that horrid sinking feeling at bed time..
I may venture down into the garage to count some more nails after I've finished the cup of coffee (mediocre, instant, Tesco, strength 4).
More potching in the garage: today we sorted screws & nails: feck me there's a lot. And then I Found Some More. .
Tea: Tesco battered haddock. Nice enough.
Entertainment: PM <click>
Unlike Brillo's Trauma Of The Lost Sock, today I suffered The Trauma of the Lost Towel, said towel having secreted itself in the duvet cover.
It did it again in the TD. .
Washing frenzy complete. Apart from said towel which is still damp. Everything requiring the iRon received its attentions: all airing upstairs.
Entertainment: Dial 999.
"Are you autistic?" on 5: there's a fair few on here who'd pass that test. .
Lucy Worsley on "The Black Death". Now that's wot I call a Proper Plague.
