The walk has been walked, and the car is now full for a Sunday afternoon trip to the tip.

Evening all
The sun is now setting on what has been a gloriously sunny day both here and in that Sussex. Currently 13 degrees and the high was 16. Barometer up to 1023 mBar.
Sunrise 06:26; Sunset 19:44 BST
Visited Mum, took her to Tesco, fed her cottage pie, veg and a lemon tart. Uneventful drive there and back. Need to put the car into the garage to make a start on the myriad of jobs it needs. Currently drives like a skip full of rocks.Comment

Tea has been shepherd's pie
This was accompanied by a new episode of Surgeons, though I'm still two episodes behindComment

In Caledonian Road I've finished Part Four, in which lots of Bad Things happened to various people, deserving and otherwise
Monday again tomorrow. But only eight more working days (for me) until Easter, when I get my break!
Goodnight allComment

Hi ho hi ho, it’s off to work I go. Feels like the old days, heading to the airport for an early flight, back on Friday.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Morning denizens
Sunny start out, with not even a vapour trail in sight. Not warm yet though at 3°C, with an expectation of 14° later. The barometers have crept up a little more at 1015/1023mB
Today is expected to be busy and tomorrow even busier, as we approach the cutover of the service we've been working with from the old to the new PaaS. This process starts late tomorrow afternoon and may conceivably continue into the evening, even if all goes well. That's assuming no showstoppers were uncovered on Friday, of courseComment

Morning all
Clear blue sky again. Currently 5 degrees ('feels like' 3) with a high of 16 expected. Barometer up to 1026 mBar.
Sunrise 06:23; Sunset 19:45 BST
Up early to attend ClientCo's office for one meeting. There was dew on the car. Quick and smooth drive down the A4.Comment

Morning.
Monday.
Dry.
Sunny.
Blue sky.
Chilly in here at 15.7 deg, 15.5 in the kitchen, 13 in the leanto.
1021 mBar, 30.15 in Hg, 765.8 Torr, 14.8 psi, (up from 1019 last night), 54% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile it was revealed on the 7th of January 2020 that LM's Xmas purchase was some safety boots for venturing airside to view deicing, and was disappointed with some wedding photos taken in NY earlier, while BR14 & NF discussed the use of pork mince, this apparently giving the flavour, whereas LM watched something about Charles I, I watched "Last Action Hero", mostly because I like it.
Walk (unabbreviated) walked in the sunshine. Alternate alternative route back down.
Minor excitement by a mosquito flying into my eye, followed 30 seconds later by a lorry hitting one of the cemetery pillars a glancing blow as it travelled up the hill.
Lunch: brunch.
Entertainment: chap waffling on about rare earths. Apparently some rare earths are in the 2% range per tonne: i.e. about 20kg per tonne. Contrast that with gold where they think 12g /tonne is worthwhile..
More potching in the garage & next door's shed. Knackered now. Removed the remaining security lights, and a fuse box. Painted some of the wood I installed last week so it'll last a bit longer before the whole thing collapses in a pile of broken glass & rotten wood.
Had a sneezing fit so came up for a cup of coffee & to recover a bit.
More potching in the garage.
Tea: chilli con carne (tinned, Tesco, 3 bean) and rice. Nice enough.
Entertainment: PM waffling on: <click> for the politico <click> back on for the weather.
UFO bollox on Blaze: this one includes Die Glocke and Hans Kammler plus the Kecksburg Pennsylvania Incident to round it all off, like.
"The long & the short of it" on BBC2NI: Cromwell.
Winter Road Rescue in that Scotland. Seems to get snowy. Not quite Trucking Hell, but getting there.
Skinwalker Ranch. Drilling holes on Skinwalker isn't a good idea.
Beyond Skinwalker Ranch. Back to "Rocky Mountain Ranch". More anomalies. 2nd failed rocket with corrupted data on SD cards. Next rocket was successful and revealed more curiosities..
