Still under the weather with this ear infection, so I gave the doctor's a call to see if I could get an appointment. They told me I was too late for today. As it was nearly three in the afternoon, this didn't surprise me; I was looking more to the future

Anyway, they said they didn't have anything until next week and so I should call at eight tomorrow morning when I might be in with a chance (or words to that effect). So it seems they keep some appointments open each day, to dish out to those who sound as if they should be seen sooner rather than later, which makes sense. I just have to see if I recover overnight now
