I flew in to there (Dunkerswell) a couple of weeks back when they had the car rally on. Absolutely crazy - they reckon they had an extra 200 flights in that day for which they were given 24hrs notice. There were parachutists dropping as often as boyo could get down to collect more and some nutter wing walking on a bi-plane.
It's usually cowboy country at the weekend as it can be the same guy manning the radio and taking payments but the cafe is good and the fuel is cheap plus it's only 25mins away.Comment
