      Good morning all

Another day closer to the heat-death of the Universe and all is sunny in Salford.

Electrician popping round to fit some extra sockets in junior's bedroom before it's redecorated.

Taking wifey out for dinner this evening. Taking junior to the firing range tomorrow morning, possibly via the gunshop as I feel like treating myself...

      Have a good weekend all!

        Morning denizens

Up very betimes, so: walk briskly walked, green ring closed

This revealed that the refuse disposal operatives are back in early riser mode, as the recycling bins had already been done when I set out at 7:30am. So that's been trundled back in

It's a sunny morning out there at the moment, around 8°C when I went out, currently 9°, and 11° expected later; but also cloud, and probable (70-90%) showers this afternoon. Barometers are sharply down at 995/1003mB

            Morning all

Overcast but dry. Currently 11 degrees ('feels like' 9) with a high of 12. Rain forecast from mid-morning onwards. Barometer down to 1006 mBar.

Tired today. Getting out of bed was a struggle.

Well it is a Saturday after all.

I'm going to pop down the shops to beat the lunchtime rush, and also the weather that I see on the radar closing in from the south

                    Shopping all done and dusted

I went to M&S first, then over to Sainsbury's. Mask-wearing seems to be diminishing in both

Lunch has been roast chicken bits from the Sainsbury's hot food counter; very tasty

Suppose I'd better get back to work now

Oh, and the bad weather hasn't arrived yet; judging by the radar it has a tendency to fizzle out before getting this far north and east, but it'll probably rain a bit after two or so
