One of the three carrier bags of crap that were "tidied up" yesterday has been gone through. About 55% recycled, 35% shredded then recycled (we can do that here), 5% in the bin, and 5% stuff that I actually need to keep. Took nearly an hour to sort through and process
And the shredder hasn't quite finished yet, as the motor ends up making a burning smell when used continuously for more than a couple of minutes and has to be left to cool for a while
I'm going to go for my walk now as it's 4°C outside and, despite it being sunny, that's as good as we'll get today. I think I'll wear a scarf this timeComment

Walk briskly walked, green ring closed
Very nippy out, with the wind making it feel like -1°C. But my new coat plus a scarf kept me nice and warm throughoutComment

Ran loony lady 1 to airport for her Covid test before she goes to see daughter in US then, distracted by her yacking, took a wrong turn and had to drive 10m up the motorway before I could turn round. Bah!bloggoth

Remaining two bags of junk gone through and disposed of in much the same proportions. Now I need to find a neighbour's recycling bin that isn't too full to dump this bag of recycling in. And I suppose the stuff I've kept needs to be filed, or whatever it is one does with important documents that shouldn't be thrown away
And with that out of the way, I remembered that I'd planned to do a towel wash. But it's a bit late for all that malarkey, so instead I've put a quick wash of a few pairs of jeans onComment

Visit to the dental hygienist done. Nice walk there and back. It's a bit chilly out but I soon warmed up once I got going.

Tea has been a roast shoulder of lamb dinner, and extremely nice it was too
Extremely filling as well because I made so much of it
All accompanied by the remainder of the Glasgow station programme I didn't finish watching the other nightComment
