In other news, people seem absolutely desperate to log into my brother's band website. They locked out the admin account due to too many 'bad attempts' so I managed to get in, set up a new admin account and delete the old one.

I have some custom messages telling those people that they're sad losers who should get a real job. I know it falls on deaf ears but it's damn annoying having one of my mailboxes fill up every day with alerts.

The band's not done much for the past year, sadly, but it does have a fancy website for when they do start gigging again.

I think their last gig was in September when pubs were briefly allowed to reopen.

Having fun with Google help chat as I'm after a tax invoice but none is available.

Apparently I have to try again on 1 February...

I kindly mentioned that it is nearly midday on 1 February in the UK so could they tell me which timezone the invoice system is referencing?

'Inez' is now trying to claim that I don't have an address on my account (I do) and that's what's stopping the Download Tax Invoice link from being available.

So Inez has given up and said that invoices should be available within the first week of the month, for transactions that took place in the previous month.

Having checked my records for last year's transaction, I see the file date for that invoice was four days after the transaction occurred. Either there's been a change of process or...
