More scrunching up of paper done in the garage.
Ancient payslips from the 1950s, 60s, 70s.
Yesterday there were a couple from the 1940s.
Astonishingly small amounts of money.
£5/week in the 40s, going up to £10/week a year later after a change of job.
£58/month in the late 50s.
£78/month in the late 60s.
Oh, and it's raining.
Some of the afternoon was spent potching about finding duplicate dvds.
During which the bulb on the torch went.
I can't remember ever having a torch bulb die on me previously.

Tea: the remainder of yesterday's roast chicken with bacon & a sausage, sadly no cranberry jam to go with it since it ran out yesterday, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.
Entertainment: TBD, possibly "Never say Never again (1983)" with that Sean Connery chap.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 9 November 2020, 17:46.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Brisk walk done, green ring closed
Seemed as if a shower might be starting as I was in the home straight, but now it seems to be holding off.Comment
