    Outside seems to have significantly brightened up.

    Checked the forecast and it has been revised to sunshine and clouds (check) and no rain (currently check). Temp is apparently 15 degrees but it's still quite breezy out so is likely to feel a bit cooler.

    I guess that means I really ought to get off my behind and do that walk.

      10% are tyres so £2500 fine & 3 points per tyre, Kerching!

        or...

        Snowflakes no longer know or are bothered to do basic car checks and maintenance and need someone to deflect their blame onto, so it's the police's fault for trying to keep the roads safe.
        If the flakes won't do it themselves, t hen you need to make them think, and what's the best way to make them think? Talk about money.

                White sky with blue bits here & intermittently sunny.

                Just walked the walk up to the res & back.

                Leg didn't start complaining until I was on the way back down.

                I think more regular exercise is required.

                <hiatus>

                It's complaining a bit more now.

                  You are just in a contrary mood aren't you?

                  Someone mentions the MOT extension which truthfully I believe is a bad idea because 30% of cars fail it first time so are not roadworthy. So i suggest the Police who stop people travelling or need an excuse to have a peek in the boot could just check the lights & tyres as well.

                    No I'm not. Try Mr Barnard, room 12.

                    They should be checking the lights anyway (if they pull you over at night).

                    As for checking the tyres, do you know of an easy way to get blood off car tyres? Bonus infraction point if you can help on getting bike chain oil and bone fragments out of the deep shag pile in the boot.
